Craven College – New Construction Facilities and Ribblehead Building Transformation

New Construction Facilities and Ribblehead Building Transformation

Brief

Craven College, one of our long-standing partners, tasked us with delivering two major summer (2025) projects to elevate their learning environments. The goal was to provide students with modern, practical spaces that would inspire the next generation of trade professionals, while also reimagining existing facilities to better serve both staff and students.

Delivery

Working closely with the team at Craven College and architects, we transformed the former equine area into a brand-new construction facility designed with hands-on learning at its heart. Purpose-built plastering bays, dedicated decorating bays, and specialist brickwork spaces now provide a dynamic hub where students can hone their skills in a real-world environment.

At the same time, over at the Ribblehead building, we repurposed the old construction area into fresh teaching spaces and a new kitchen, creating a more flexible and functional environment for the college community. The design focused on maximising adaptability and improving the flow of spaces, ensuring they remain fit for purpose as needs evolve.

The result is two distinct but connected projects that align with Craven College’s vision for its future: facilities that are modern, inspiring, and built to nurture both current students and generations to come.
