This exclusive project in the Lake District brought us the challenge of delivering a comprehensive joinery package for a remarkable residential new build. Working in close partnership with the Reid Builders, our role encompassed every facet of joinery—custom glulam roof structures, dormers, floor joists, hard flooring, and bespoke millboard cladding and decking. The project also required an extensive dry lining package for walls and ceilings, installation of rainwater goods, skirtings, and architraves, as well as our design and installation of a breathtaking custom staircase. This was a full-scope endeavor that called for both technical precision and creativity to bring out the beauty of the home and its surroundings.
Close collaboration with the contractor and design team at every stage allowed us to seamlessly meet the project’s unique requirements, from detailed concept reviews to on-the-ground adjustments. A streamlined approach to material deliveries was used to ensure the smooth flow of each phase. This approach supported efficient workflows across the joinery package while minimising disruption and maintaining a high standard of quality control on-site. The project’s location in the Lake District added an extra layer of inspiration, as each design element was crafted to blend with and enhance the breathtaking natural scenery.
